Purchase a gift membership in Mac/Eddy Club and your recipient will receive three issues of our gorgeous, glossy magazine, Mac/Eddy Today! The membership includes Issues #66, 67 and 68. (If a gift membership/gift renewal is purchased for someone who already has those issues, they will be sent Issues 69, 70 and 71.) Members also receive occasional newsletters and special discounts throughout the year.

You can either buy a new or renewal gift membership. You can also upgrade an existing membership to a Lifetime Membership, or purchase a Lifetime Membership, which entitles you to special discounts, free admission to club events and other bonuses such as an original framed oil Mac/Eddy painting or a choice of a Nelson or Jeanette bust. When you check out, you will have a chance to provide complete name, address and other information for your gift recipient! If you'd like a gift card enclosed, please let us know what the card should say.

A lifetime membership in the Mac/Eddy Club gives you many benefits and helps our club. Your basic $50 membership covers the cost of printing our glossy magazine and the mailings that go out to you and the membership. It does not begin to cover the many other expenses involved in running the club which include all the projects in research, preservation of materials, administration of the website, and bringing in necessary outside help to assist in bulk mailings and major time-consuming projects.

Many thoughtful and understanding members donate extra funds as they can (which is always appreciated), or when renewal time comes around. However, we also offer a special Lifetime Membership, that you might want to take advantage of. It entitles you to the following:

* Receive all club journals at no additional charge

* Free admission to any club events anywhere in the U.S. or the world, including luncheons, dinners and special events

* One copy every year of our glossy, photo-filled Mac/Eddy calendar

* A 10% discount on most items you purchase DIRECTLY from the club. This includes the following: videos, cassettes, CDs, CD-ROMs, magazines, magazine xeroxes, calendars, and items purchased at club meetings. We cannot include books, any items ordered online directly from CafePress (makers of our mugs, shirts and mousepads), or any of our future products that are sold or shipped to you by a business other than Mac/Eddy.

Here's how it works: Our magazine covers are original oil paintings taken from a black-and-white photo. You choose the photo of the team that you want, as long as it is not a photo that we've already used. If you don't know which photo to have for your painting, just let us know which film you prefer and we'll show you some suggestions and help you make your choice! Once your painting is done, we will "shoot" it for the magazine cover and then you will receive the original--in an expensive and beautiful frame!

For those of you new to our club, Larry Williams was our cover portrait artist for Mac/Eddy Today from 1977 until 2002. His paintings were commissioned by several Presidents, including Bush, Sr. and the Clinton White House, and last time we checked, his paintings of Jeanette and Nelson appraised at over $2500 each! His portrait studio is still active, as he turned the business over to his daughter and trained others to continue his work. The gorgeous cover for Issue #65 is an example of the new "regime" carrying on Larry's excellence. See below for an example of how you can have an Jeanette-Nelson oil painting done.

Another option is: instead of an oil painting, you may choose one of the Limited Edition life-size busts sculpted by Nelson Eddy, either of himself or Jeanette MacDonald.These retail for nearly half the cost of the Lifetime Membership!
